Timeline of a painting

Here's a piece I'm working on for a friend of mine. I'm going to chronicle each step that way you can see the steps I go through to get to a final piece. It starts as a simple concept graphite sketch with some basic watercolors thrown in to get the general idea of color. This sketch is very small and upon approval I stretch a canvas, which is 32" x 28" and started dropping in some beginning layers, a little sky to start off.
